This is going to be an exciting weekend folks, as we have a lot of exciting events to tell you about. First, we would like to take a moment for a friendly reminder that TJ Collectibles has been given the honor of organizing and running the Magic the Gathering events at the first ever Penny Arcade Expo East (PAX East) on March 26th to the 28th. Badges are selling quickly, so look into getting your's today! Stay tuned as well, we will be posting the event schedule for PAX East in the next few weeks both on our event calender and on our Facebook page. To kick things off, starting with Friday at 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM we have our now weekly Yu-Gi-Oh Advanced Constructed tournament. Just $5.00 to play and everyone receives a prize! If you are an avid Yu-Gi-Oh fan or just want to learn to play, come on down and check it out.

For you Magic enthusists, we of course have our weekly Friday Night Magic now starting at a NEW time: 6:00 PM. Can't get here in time? No problem! We're not also offering a SECOND Friday Night Magic booster draft at 8:00 PM as well. That's TWO tournaments folks! Entry is just $15.00 with booster pack prizes, plus the exclusive foil promo you can't get any place else.
 

If you want to qualify for the Magic Pro Tour, this is your chance! Join us at the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Club, 200 Clement Drive, East Hartford, Connecticut this Saturday for the opportunity. Registration opens at 9:00 AM with a prompt 10:00 AM start time. Entry is $25.00, format is Extended. Decklists are required. Winner receives the coveted blue envelope and qualifies to attend Pro Tour San Juan, Puerto Rico. Booster pack prizes also awarded. This is one of the last PTQ's before Worldwake, which could potentially shake things up!

Naturally, dealers will be on site to cater to all your Magic-related needs. Of course, while trading during the event is allowed, we kindly remind you that only authorized dealers are allowed to buy and sell product and cards. Anyone caught doing so forfeits their entry in the event and will be kindly asked to leave. This includes "outside" deals. We thank you for your understanding.

  
 

Can't make the PTQ? Not into competitive play? No problem! We still have events right here at TJ's for everyone! Our famous Casual Magic is still scheduled to run. For just $5.00, you enter to win some great prizes and don't forget, everyone receives some kind of prize as well, just for playing! Registration starts at 11:30 AM, with a prompt start time of Noon.

Also on Saturday, we have our now weekly Yu-Gi-Oh Saturday Advanced Constructed tournament. Start time is 5:00 PM. Similar to Friday's layout, entry is just $5.00 with everyone receiving a prize! Check it out.
